WE are currently hiring an Experienced Dairy Farm worker, to work in the Cork area
Candidate will have experience in working on large commercial Dairy farms and be fully familiar with all aspect related to carrying out the duties on a busy Farm. This is Full time contract role 39 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be organised efficient and be able to work with the process that pertain to our particular client Farm
Must be able to understand and have worked with modern Milking systems
Be able to identify straight forward Mechanical issues and fix
Be attentive to health of Animals and be able to identify and offer solutions and straight forward treatments.
Be able to take corrective action when an animal is seen as having a health issue
Be flexible and carry out additional duties, on the farm – Calf rearing – grass management, Fertiliser and slurry spreading
Tractor and Quad driving skills
Be safety conscious and be safety aware at all times,
Be able to drive a car is an advantage
