Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Machinery Operator to work primarily on tillage and silage operations, with occasional work on maize and general groundwork. The role involves operating modern machinery, mainly John Deere tractors, to deliver high-quality, efficient farm work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out tillage, silage, maize, and groundwork as required
- Operate and maintain John Deere tractors and other machinery safely
- Plan and execute tasks efficiently to meet farm schedules
- Maintain machinery in good working order
- Adhere to health & safety and environmental regulations
- Work independently and as part of a team when required
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as an agricultural contractor or machinery operator
- Experience with tillage, silage, and maize operations essential
- Skilled in operating JD tractors and other farm machinery
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong work ethic and reliability
