About the Programme
Fully funded by Laois and Offaly ETB, in conjunction with FRS Farm Services, this Farm Traineeship course offers an invaluable opportunity to individuals who are keen to enter the farming sector, regardless of their previous agricultural work experience. The programme covers in-class lessons, practical training, and guaranteed work experience to prepare you for jobs across several areas in farming. On successful completion, participants will have the skills and confidence to pursue a career working on farms.
Who is it for?
Anyone living in the Laois/Offaly area who is interested in farm work, but lacks the agricultural background, skills, knowledge or experience. Job seekers can retain their payment benefits for the duration of the programme.
