Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Interpret and review technical drawings, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
  • Work closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Conduct site inspections, setting out works, and ensuring quality control.
  • Monitor project progress, report on milestones, and address any technical challenges.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly followed.
  • Assist in managing project budgets and controlling costs.
  • Prepare reports, technical documentation, and method statements as required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil engineering, ideally in infrastructure, utilities, or groundworks projects.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A full, clean driving licence is essential.
