The role of the Dairy Farm relief worker will vary from farm to farm, the main tasks of the role will involve Pre- milking operation and carrying out the milking of cows in line with procedures that pertain to that particular farm. You will also complete the milking cycle and return animals to the field ensuring all Quality and safety standards are adhered to.
Experience in with Herringbone or Rotary system will be required.
Other task may form part of the assignment depending, Feeding , looking after calves and in general being aware of health and welfare of animals that you are working with.
Being able to drive and having access to a car are a real advantage.
