About the Role
A progressive dairy farm in the Nenagh area is seeking a motivated and reliable full-time Dairy Farm Worker to join a small, dedicated team. This is a hands-on role working alongside three other staff members in a well-organised farming operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Milking duties carried out to a high standard (morning and evening)
- Calf rearing, including feeding, health monitoring, and housing management
- General animal husbandry and herd care
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in milking parlour and yard
- Assisting with feeding, bedding, and grassland management
- Operating farm machinery where required
- Supporting day-to-day farm operations as needed
Working Hours
- Typically 6:00/7:00am – 5:00/6:00pm
- Includes morning and evening milking
Requirements
- Previous experience in dairy farming
- Good understanding of milking routines and calf care
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Full driving licence desirable
