We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Full-Time Dairy Farm Worker for a farm located near Baltinglass in Co. Wicklow.
The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day running of the dairy farm and help ensure the highest standards of animal welfare, cleanliness and farm management.
Key Responsibilities
-Milking cows and assisting with the milking routine
-Feeding and caring for livestock
-Calf care and general animal husbandry
-Cleaning and maintaining sheds, yards and equipment
-Monitoring animal health and reporting any concerns
-General farm duties and maintenance as required
The Ideal Candidate
-Previous dairy farming experience is an advantage, but training can be provided for the right person
-Reliable, hardworking and responsible
-Comfortable working with livestock
-Able to work independently and as part of a team
-Good attention to animal welfare and farm hygiene
-Full driving licence preferred
-Machinery experience
