Job Title: Lambing Assistant
Location: Ballinasloe / Laurencetown area
Duration: 4 weeks from 1st March
Job Description:
A lambing assistant is required to help during the lambing season on a sheep farm in the Ballinasloe/Laurencetown area. The role will involve working with a flock of approximately 280 ewes.
Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with lambing and newborn lamb care

Monitoring ewe and lamb health

Feeding and general husbandry

Maintaining clean and tidy lambing sheds

General farm duties as required during lambing
Working Pattern:

Monday to Friday
-
Weekend work available for interested candidates
Candidate Requirements:

Previous lambing experience preferred
-
Willingness to learn, with training provided where required

Good stock sense and attention to animal welfare

Reliable and able to work as part of a team
