Dairy Farm Morning Milker – (Medium sized Dairy Farm, South-East Limerick)
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking person to assist with morning milking on a medium-sized dairy farm in South East Limerick. The role involves milking cows, handling antibiotic milk separately, and feeding calves after milking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out morning milking starting at 7:00 a.m.
- Manage cows with antibiotic milk according to farm procedures
- Clean and maintain milking equipment and parlour to a high standard
- Feed and check calves after milking
Requirements:
- Previous milking or farm experience preferred but not essential (training can be provided)
- Comfortable working with livestock
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Attention to detail, especially regarding antibiotic milk handling
Hours:
- 7am-10am 3/4 Morning a week
- Possibility of 2/3 evening milkings+calf feeding as well for suitable candidate
